Picking It Back Up
Scripture Focus: Isaiah 41:10
"So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God..."
There are moments in life when the weight of everything we’ve been through causes us to put things down.
Not because we didn’t care.
Not because we weren’t capable.
But because we were trying to survive.
You may have put down your dreams.
Your passions.
Even parts of who you once were.
And somewhere along the way, you may have started to believe that it was too late to pick those things back up.
But God never called you to abandon what He placed inside of you.
He understands the seasons where you had to pause.
He saw the pain, the loss, the healing you needed.
And now… He is gently calling you back.
Back to purpose.
Back to growth.
Back to the things that still have your name on them.
You don’t have to pick everything back up at once.
You just have to take one step.
One small act of obedience.
One moment of courage.
One decision to try again.
Because what God has for you was never lost—it was waiting.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for being patient with me in every season.
Give me the strength to pick back up what You have called me to do.
Remove fear, doubt, and hesitation, and replace it with peace and confidence in You.
Order my steps as I begin again, and remind me that I am never alone.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Psalms 91 Reminder:
I will dwell in the secret place of the Most High and rest in His shadow.
I trust that God is covering me, guiding me, and protecting me as I move forward.
Reflection Prompt:
What is one thing you feel God is calling you to pick back up—and what is one small step you can take today?
